Natalie Drummond, PT, DPT joined the Reston TCOA Physical Therapy staff in June 2015. She began her career in the Northern Virginia area after graduating from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia with a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006. Natalie, originally from Newport News, Virginia, has been interested in the field of physical therapy since high school, when athletic injuries brought her into the trainer’s room. Shortly thereafter, she began volunteering at a local clinic. Natalie then attended undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where she received her B.S. of Health Education, Rehabilitative Exercise Science, and Wellness Management with an emphasis in Kinesiotherapy in the pre-physical therapy track.
Natalie has spent her career developing her skills with continuing education courses focused on the orthopedic and sports populations and working in outpatient orthopedic settings. She works with a variety of patient populations and ages with a variety of diagnoses, taking pride in helping her patients return to quality, healthy and functional lifestyles.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys camping, snowboarding, watching National’s baseball and Steeler’s football, and spending time with her family.
